NFRW's Winning Web of the Week - our Club!

Our club was recognized by the National Federation of Republican Women as the latest "Winning Web of the Week".
To encourage clubs and federations to build and maintain winning webs, NFRW recognizes those which meet and surpass  their basic guidelines. The Clubs and Federations which accomplish this and which apply will be listed in the weekly Capital Connection
E-newsletter as Winning Webs of the Week.  These Winning Webs have been recognized at past NFRW National Conventions and will be recognized at the next convention.

In looking through this marvelous website, the first thing that I noticed was the warm and friendly tone. These ladies made me feel welcome and I have not yet met any of them – I can only imagine it would be even better in person! And, after looking at the information about the upcoming meeting, the next thing I noticed was the brief recaps of past speakers, past activities. If I were moving to their area and looking to join a group of Republican Women, these items clearly show that the Fayette County women are an active and vibrant club. And if you have any doubts, just check out the huge smiles in the images on their Photos page. Who would not want to join with these ladies in helping elect Republicans!!

Other “features” I liked were that the club has links to their Facebook page on several of their website pages and that they offer PayPal for those who want to pay their dues or make their lunch reservations through this convenient service. Fayette County RW have done a great job in making it easy for those with just a limited amount of time and who want to find information or to pay quickly. Plus, of course, they have their membership form available online so ladies that prefer to send a check can easily send everything via the regular mail.

The Links page is nicely organized, which makes it easy to find specific a group and link. Other RW clubs and federations could learn from the Fayette County RW on how much more useful this makes the page to visitors to the website.

Congratulations to the Fayette County RW webmaster, Kathye Schattner, and to club president, Barbara Ellerbrook, on one of the outstanding websites in the National Federation of Republican Women!
