FCRWC WELCOMES NEW MEMBERS

On February 1, 2012, Fayette County Republican Women's Club welcomed new
members Sharon Donahue and Sue Ann Ritchko! We are glad
these wonderful ladies have decided to join our club!
Sharon Donahue
is a longtime Lexington resident who has always wanted to become more
involved in promoting Republican values and issues. We're glad to have
you, Sharon!
Sue Ann Ritchko
comes to us from upstate New York. Sue Ann has been very
involved in many facets of the Republican Party, including holding public
office. Welcome Sue Ann!

Our club was recognized by the National Federation of Republican Women as
the latest "Winning
Web of the Week"
(June 4, 2011).
To encourage clubs and federations to build and maintain winning webs, NFRW
recognizes those which meet and surpass their basic guidelines. The Clubs
and Federations which accomplish this and which apply will be listed in the
weekly Capital Connection E-newsletter as Winning Webs of the Week.
These Winning Webs were recognized at past NFRW National Conventions since
2009 and will be recognized at the next convention. To read the review
of our website, click here.

The Fayette County Republican
Party would like to start Teenage Republican Clubs at Lafayette, Bryan
Station, Lexington Christian Academy, and Lexington Catholic. If you know of
any interested people in those schools, please
e-mail the Victory Office
(rpfc@windstream.net)
and we’ll help them get
started. This is a great leadership opportunity for young people.
Reminders:
-
It’s now time to
pay your dues for 2012 (Please
click
here for dues information).
-
Don't forget to
turn in your volunteer hours!
-
Members must make
reservations for the luncheons. If you are unable to attend after making a
reservation, you must cancel by Monday morning before the meeting; otherwise
you will be billed for the meal cost. The club must pay for the number of
meals guaranteed.
-
The meeting
agenda will be set one week prior to each meeting by the Executive
Committee. Any unscheduled announcements must be cleared by the President or
First Vice President prior to the meeting.
News from the
Kentucky Federation of Republican Women:
Be sure to check out the the Kentucky
Federation of Republican Women's new website! The new link is:
http://www.kentuckyrepublicanwomen.org
The site features a Kentucky map, where prospective members can
find a Republican women's club in their area just by clicking on the map!
All of our Kentucky clubs are listed. Each club has their president's
contact information (email or phone number).
The clubs that have websites or Facebook pages have those links listed, as
well. There is candidate information, calendar of events, and soon to
be coming, a great photo page with pictures of KFRW events. Come check
it out!
