Meetings

Our meetings are held the first Wednesday of every month (exceptions - January and July) at the Spindletop Hall, 3414 Iron Works Pike (Near the Kentucky Horse Park).  Meetings begin at 11:15 A.M.  The cost of the lunch is $20 which includes a choice of the regular menu selection (varies by month) or a chef salad.  Please contact Kathy Davis for reservations.
Reservations need to be made no later than the Sunday before each meeting.

The next meeting will be Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Spindletop Hall on Ironworks Pike.
The meeting starts promptly at 11:30 so come early to register and visit with your fellow Republicans. Meal cost - $20. 
This is a very important year for Republicans all across the country and an important year for our club to grow- please consider bringing a friend to the meeting and help us get more people involved.

Featured Speaker(s) and/or program will be: Fayette County Judge Executive Jon Larson who will speak on Immigration Jon earned his law degree from the University of Kentucky and has practiced law as a public defender for Fayette County Legal Aid and in private practice.  He has been a candidate for a variety of public offices including the U.S. House of Representatives in 2008. He was elected Fayette County Judge Executive in November 2010, and has since been campaigning to eliminate this office in both Fayette and Jefferson counties. Jon has served on a number of commissions.  He was the Former Chair of the Fayette County Human Rights Commission where he lobbied for and appointed the first Hispanic Commissioner.  Jon also participated in the Mayor's Task Force on Hispanic Immigrants.
