Welcome to the Fayette County Republican Women's Club website.  We are located in Lexington, KY and affiliated with the National Federation of Republican Women, a body of over 100,000 women who support Republican candidates and causes at all levels of government.  FCRWC is open to all Republican women in the central Kentucky area.  Please take a moment to look through our site and learn more about us.

Featured Speaker(s) and/or program will be: Fayette County Judge Executive Jon Larson who will speak on Immigration Jon earned his law degree from the University of Kentucky and has practiced law as a public defender for Fayette County Legal Aid and in private practice.  He has been a candidate for a variety of public offices including the U.S. House of Representatives in 2008. He was elected Fayette County Judge Executive in November 2010, and has since been campaigning to eliminate this office in both Fayette and Jefferson counties. Jon has served on a number of commissions.  He was the Former Chair of the Fayette County Human Rights Commission where he lobbied for and appointed the first Hispanic Commissioner.  Jon also participated in the Mayor's Task Force on Hispanic Immigrants.

The Fayette County Republican Women's Club is planning an exciting year of events for 2012!  Our luncheon meetings allow us an opportunity to hear from national, state and local candidates.  In addition to our candidates, we will also hear from knowledgeable speakers from a variety of fields who will address issues of concern for Kentucky citizens.  Our annual Legislative Day in Frankfort is planned for February 9, 2012.  We will spend the day in Frankfort, meeting with our Republican representatives, touring the capitol, and sitting in on committee meetings.  We have many fun and informative events like Legislative Day planned for the year.
